The two main adjacent islands form a unique landscape. You can enjoy drinks at the local bar, “Johnny Maracas”, and snorkeling in two small reefs near the beach. With a handful of Kuna families residing on the isle, you will find that there is always fresh bread.
Some of these cayos are inhabited by Kunas, in the area there are bars and restaurants. The closest to Carti, the sea here is calm, and the bays are well-protected. Perhaps the most famous of its islands are Banedup, Elefante and Dog Island. Dog Island, in particular, is a must-see for snorkeling enthusiasts, keen to catch a glimpse of its iconic sunken ship.
